Treehouse Plumbing: Our commitment to your comfort begins with a complete overhaul of Treehouse’s plumbing system. We’ve replaced all original pipes with state-of-the-art PEX, a modern plumbing solution that ensures reliable water flow. We’ve upgraded the water heater to a commercial-grade 80 gallon unit, meaning you’ll never run out of hot water, even in the main loft bedroom’s luxurious double shower. To top it off, we’ve installed a comprehensive whole-home filtration and water softening system to guarantee the purest mountain water, so you can relish every drop.
BBQ Grill: We’ve heeded the wishes of our guests and introduced a brand new stainless steel propane barbecue on the deck, located just off the kitchen. We provide the propane and have backup 20-gallon tanks outside for your convenience. You’ll find a heavy-duty grilling spatula and a wire cleaning brush in the cabinet under the grilling surface.
Fire Pit Upgrade: Say goodbye to the smoky steel wood-burning fire pit. Our guests desired a smokeless version, and we’ve delivered. The upgraded fire pit is now fueled by propane, nestled amidst boulders with carved wooden timber benches. We’re also adding lounge chairs and side tables for added comfort, ensuring you can enjoy the full campfire experience without the accompanying smoke.
Kitchen Upgrades: Your culinary experience at Treehouse is now even more impressive. We’ve replaced many of the pots and pans with high-quality Caraway pans and robust utensils designed to withstand serious cooking. While Cedar City offers an array of dining options, we understand that many guests prefer to stock up the fridge and prepare meals right at Treehouse. If there’s anything we’ve missed, please don’t hesitate to let us know; your feedback is invaluable to us.
Log Restoration: Treehouse boasts real log construction, not faux log siding. Maintaining real logs requires specialized care, and unfortunately, the previous owner fell short in this regard. To rectify this, we enlisted the expertise of Pencil Log Pros from Colorado, who bead-blasted the logs down to their raw wood state and expertly restored any areas in need of attention. The result is a museum of logs, both inside and out. This not only ensures all-natural insulation against temperature extremes but also envelops you in the insulating embrace of real trees. It’s cozy McCozy here at Treehouse.
3M Window Film: The striking 22-foot high window wall at Treehouse offers breathtaking 180-degree views, but it also brought an excess of light and heat. To preserve this view without sacrificing comfort, we’ve added 3M Night Vision premium quality residential window film. It reduces heat and glare while preserving your incredible view, effectively acting as a giant pair of sunglasses for the home.
Air Conditioner Upgrades: Your comfort is a priority, and to that end, we’ve added a mini-split air conditioner and heater to the top-floor loft/bedroom, along with ceiling fans in the main living area. These upgrades complement the existing central air system on the lower levels, allowing you to tailor the temperature to your liking, no matter where you are in the home.
Motorized Blinds: For those who seek even more control over the light and privacy in Treehouse, we’ve equipped all the windows with perforated blinds. The upper high windows are motorized, operated with a remote control, while the lower windows have manual pull chains. Sleeping areas feature blackout blinds, ensuring a restful night’s sleep and maximum privacy.
Upcoming Amenities: We’re continually seeking new ways to enhance your experience. On the horizon, you can look forward to string lights adorning the main deck, creating a captivating ambiance in the evening. We also have plans to transform the nearby barn into a wellness center, complete with a sauna, jacuzzi, and a cold plunge tub.
