For a truly epic adventure, consider the 58.4-mile point-to-point Kanarraville Mountain Road. While this may seem intimidating for hikers, it can be a 24-hour endurance test. A more accessible approach is to explore it with an off-road vehicle. We often venture out with our 4×4, allowing us to embark on short hikes in the most scenic areas, complete with coolers and other conveniences. This method offers unparalleled flexibility and lets you savor your favorite spots without feeling rushed. Although two-wheel drive vehicles can navigate the trail, we recommend something with extra ground clearance, like a truck or SUV. ATVs and side-by-sides are common sights, providing even more versatility and speed. You can explore Kolob Reservoir about halfway along the trail where you can enjoy the lake on rental kayaks and other small boats. There are campgrounds here, too, if you’re in the mood for extra adventure. Be sure to call ahead for availability and reservations.
